Amarylis Sueing has been a musician for over 20 years. She began studying music at the age of five and began studying alto saxophone at age eight. Her passion for music inspired her to pursue a career as an independent artist performing jazz, popular and inspirational music. Ms. Sueing is the featured saxophonist on several albums including Freedom’s Soul: The Revolution, Is This Love? and Eye’s Up.
Amarylis earned her Master’s degree in Music Technology from Georgia Southern University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Clark Atlanta University. She currently serves as a music technology instructor at SAE Institute of Technology in Atlanta and Audio Visual Director at Hoosier Memorial United Methodist Church. She is the recipient of the 2017 Young Church Woman Award from Church Women United and the recipient of the 2019 Trumpet Foundation Spiritual Enlightenment Award.
